Dunno why people make so much fuss about the violence of 'Hostel' when in fact, compared to 'The Passion of the Christ' there's less blood. Maybe its one of the flicks that you dont get to see often so the shock value is a notch higher. Wes Craven apparently walked out after not being able to stand the gore. But I was more sickened by the first 'Hellraiser' flick. I love it coz its different. And another movie which some people say makes 'Hostel' look like 'Bambi' is 'The Hills Have Eyes'. The trailer scared the crap out of me so this is definitely in my weekend agenda.

Saw 'The Inside Man' on the weekend & it bored me to death. The only action I got in the movie was from a couple sitting beside me who were making out throughout the entire crapfest. What was Jodie Foster thinking by accepting such stupid role? As if 'Flightplan' wasn't bad enough. Denzel, well he's been in a few shitflicks anyway. Do yourself a favor. Dont waste your money on this.

On the other hand, 'Coldblooded' was a pleasant surprise. Nope its not in the cinemas. Its a 1994 flick starring 90s pinup boy Jason Priestley. Brandon, I mean, Jason is the last person you'd imagine to play a hitman but he was quite impressive here. What was more impressive was he got to blow Michael J Fox's brains out. A wonderfully written black comedy with a great script. If you visit your local video store, do check this one out.
